Student Melissa made the exciting choice to invest in her own lawn care and gardening business. Recently joined by Samuel, the pair expertly tends to lawns and gardens across Wellington.

The choice to invest in a Crewcut franchise was the result of a desire for a flexible work-life balance and having great support. Taught by their father how to tend to gardens and remove unwelcome weeds, while their mother showed them how to do the admin side; Melissa and Samuel have learned the responsibilities that come with owning a business.

The young entrepreneurs have a strong work ethic and a healthy desire to give their customers quality results, with the help of powerful Stihl, Shindawa, Husqvarna, and Honda tools.

Their goal for the future of the business is to gain 80+ additional customers in the next two years. Their advice to newcomers is to take every opportunity that you are given.

When not at work, expanding their Wellington business, Melissa and Samuel enjoy spending time with family and pets, as well as playing hockey and watching movies.
