Jaime is a dedicated lawn care expert serving the Wellington region since joining Crewcut in December 2023. Before transitioning to Crewcut, Jaime worked in shepherding, a career that fostered a deep connection to outdoor work. However, an injury necessitated a change, and Crewcut offered the perfect opportunity to continue working outside while enjoying a flexible schedule. Jaime quickly adapted to the new role, leveraging skills in attention to detail, professionalism, and customer satisfaction to build a strong reputation within the community.

Jaime’s goal is to provide exceptional lawn care services and expand the customer base to around 80 clients within the next two to three years. This ambition is supported by the occasional assistance of family members on larger clean-up projects and the help of a nephew for some of the mowing tasks. Jaime’s approachable nature and commitment to quality work make them a favourite among clients, particularly appreciated for taking the time to engage with older customers.

When not working, Jaime enjoys spending quality time with family. One of the key lessons learned since joining Crewcut is that no two lawns are the same and that hedge trimmers can be surprisingly heavy. Jaime advises newcomers to the business to master the edges, and always find time for a friendly chat with customers.
