Mark decided to join Crewcut in 2018 after realising he wanted to work flexible hours and be his own boss. His former job as a travel agent didn’t allow that. So, he hung up his suit and tie, swapped it for Stihl, Testarossa, and Honda lawn care equipment, and hasn’t looked back.

Mark travels around Wellington, making sure he can offer his clients a variety of convenient services, like lawn mowing, gardening, section tidy-ups, and hedge trimming. He prides himself on his reliability, attention to detail, and customer service.

While he primarily works by himself, his dad helps from time to time, and he would like to hire staff and grow the business in the future.

Mark has learned many new things since getting into lawn care, including the importance of good gear. He believes it’s crucial to purchase top-quality tools and look after them.

However, it’s not all work and no play for Mark. When he’s not behind a lawnmower, he’s spending time with his son and renovating his house.
