Steve’s skill set is in hot demand, and he’s a man that can tackle all manner of lawns and make them look like the picture of perfection. He is clearly the man to see for all lawn mowing requirements in and around Oamaru! 

Steve has been with Crewcut since 2005 and worked in the freezing works for close to three decades before he decided to make a change. He saw other young guys make a go at a lawn mowing franchise and wondered whether the same lifestyle could work for him. Noticing that Crewcut had the biggest setup, Steve jumped at the chance to own a franchise.

Now, he has more work than he knows what to do with! He spends five days of the week taking care of lawns and other small jobs, and continually fields comments such as “you’re the best in town”. His clients love his attention to detail and ability to get the job done quickly.

When he’s not busy helping his customers, he’s spending time with his family. Steve has six grandkids and loves to go to the beach and get active with them.

Steve’s advice for others looking at establishing themselves in lawn care is not to overwork yourself. “You’ll only end up costing yourself money instead of earning.”
