Back to Work at Alert Level 3

As we go down to Alert Level 3 and start resuming our services on Tuesday, 28th April 2020, we remain determined to work while further enhancing our commitment to customer and employee health and safety.

We have taken the following steps to ensure that our operators are ready to go back to work under Alert Level 3:

  • We required all operators to complete an online induction with guidelines for resuming services.

  • We required all operators to read, fill, and sign a comprehensive work instruction developed in consultation and cooperation with workers and relevant organisation representatives.

  • All operators have been asked to comply with safety requirements in the work instruction, including risk control measures, safe work instructions, and PPE described in the document.

  • We asked them to take extra precautions with in-person customer interactions and to discourage customers from communicating with them face to face. Customers have been asked to call, text, or email the operators instead.

  • Operators may ask a series of questions over the phone or before entering customers’ properties. Customers have been asked to provide them with the correct information.

  • Operators may also wear special protective clothing and ask customers to maintain a physical distance of at least two (2) metres.

  • We have continually asked customers to avoid paying in cash. Customers can ask the operator or call Crewcut at 0800 800 286 to have this arranged.

  • Instructed customers to follow operators' directions at all times to ensure safety.

Please understand that we might experience some delays due to the backlog of work we have to complete. We will try to attend to your property the soonest we can, and we thank you for your patience.

As always, let us know if you have any questions. We'd be happy to help.
