Alert Level Changes - 08 September 2021

Some services will be available again beginning Wednesday, 8th September 2021, subject to Alert Level 2 guidelines.

If you live in the Auckland region, please note we are NOT able to resume our normal services until further notice due to the Alert Level 4 restrictions that are currently in place.

Crewcut operators in the rest of the country can resume following Alert Level 2 operational guidelines.

If you are unsure about the alert level your property falls under, please check the boundary areas for Levels 2 and 4 here:

Our operator will contact you regarding resuming your service if you have not already contacted them.

It is important to remember that under Alert Level 2, some people may not be able to return to work immediately due to personal reasons.

We appreciate your patience as they attempt to clear the backlog of work before they can resume their regularly scheduled service.

Working at Alert Level 2

To ensure that we can operate safely at your premises under new rules for Alert Level 2, our franchisees will need to ensure that:

  • Your household or workplace has not experienced a case of COVID-19

  • Your household or workplace is not a registered Location of Interest and that you have not visited such a location

  • That there is no situation where you or those around you are isolated due to possible exposure to COVID-19

  • That you are able to maintain social distancing with a minimum 2-metre distance between yourself and anyone else on the premises

Your Crewcut service provider cannot legally deliver services at your property if you are unable to provide them with a workspace that will allow them to operate safely.

COVID-19 Safety Plan

Our team will work to ensure we meet the highest levels of safety and health when working at your house or commercial property.

We have required all operators to complete an online induction with guidelines for resuming services and have provided a COVID-19 Safety Plan in conjunction with our H&S kit to minimise the risk of transmission at the different alert levels.

Each operator was required to read, fill out, sign, and submit a comprehensive work instruction developed in consultation with relevant representatives.

All operators have been tasked to comply with health and safety requirements and to complete checklists covering:

  • risk control measures

  • safe work instructions

  • PPE

  • social distancing

  • Enhanced hygiene protocols

Once they arrive on-site, they will conduct a site check and record their movements either electronically (QR scanning) or via a written log sheet for contact tracing purposes.

We asked operators to take extra precautions with in-person customer interactions. On the other hand, we have asked customers to make contactless payments (cashless transactions).

We would like to thank you for your continued support. We encourage you to follow the rules so we can all stay safe and healthy.

For any questions about your service, please contact your Crewcut operator directly, call 0800 800 286, or email info@crewcut.co.nz.
