Kedar, began his journey with Crewcut in March 2024, transitioning from his previous role as a houseperson at Sofitel Wellington. With a longstanding interest in lawn care, Kedar saw the opportunity to start a lawn mowing franchise as the perfect fit, and Crewcut’s strong reputation and support system made the decision even easier. The backing Crewcut offers helped him deliver high-quality service right from the start, aligning with his passion for the industry. 

Kedar’s goal for his business is clear, he aims to grow a loyal customer base large enough to support at least two full-time operators. Over the next two years, he hopes to secure 100+ regular clients, which would ensure steady growth and allow him to meet the growing demand for his services while maintaining a strong reputation in the community. 

Family plays a big part in Kedar’s business. His wife and son help with accounting, scheduling, and even lawn mowing when things get busy. Their support ensures the smooth running of operations and helps Kedar balance the challenges of growing a business. 

One of Kedar’s standout skills is his ability to connect with customers. He makes it a point to build a strong relationship, ensuring that clients are happy with the service provided. This, combined with his attention to detail and physical fitness for the job, has been key to retaining customers and earning their trust. 

When he’s not working, Kedar enjoys spending quality time with his family. The balance between family life and work is important to him, and he values the support they provide both in and out of the business. 

Since joining Crewcut, the most significant lesion Kedar has learned is the importance of fostering strong customer relationships. While delivering quality work is vital, building trust with clients through clear communication and understanding their needs has been instrumental in his success.
