Brandan has only recently made the step to start his own lawn mowing franchise. He has been on his own for three months after working alongside his father-in-law for over three years. Now with his partner doing the accounting, Crewcut has quickly become an important part of their family.

Before joining Crewcut, Brandan was a farmer. He made the switch after seeing how much his father-in-law enjoyed the work. Wanting a more flexible lifestyle and an employer that’s easy to work for, the choice was simple.

His future goals are growing the business and getting into more commercial lawns, while still having plenty of time to spend with his partner and sons. Brandan prides himself on his attention to detail, as well as being friendly and physically fit, making him and his Stihl equipment an ideal fit for any lawn job.

Brandan notes that starting his own lawn and garden business has been difficult but very rewarding at the same time. His advice is simple and encouraging: if you take the step into the business, put your whole foot in, not half. You will get more out of it if you give it everything, and it will get easier.
