Before he made a move to Crewcut, Jimmy was no stranger to lawn care services or hard work. He worked in landscaping for someone else and loved being outside. While he was hunting for a new hedge trimmer on TradeMe, he saw a Crewcut franchise for sale and jumped at the chance. He hasn’t looked back since.

He doesn’t falter on tricky or complicated jobs and takes everything in his stride. While he does the majority of the work himself, his partner Rachel lends a helping hand, as well as a casual worker from time to time. Bookwork has been the most significant learning curve of all, but even that he takes care of himself as well.

When he’s not out and about with his high-quality outdoor tools, he’s spending time with his family. His three kids keep him busy, and he loves being able to enjoy a work-life balance that works for him and his family.
